Running through the mud at Urenui Beach isn’t something you would usually do on a Sunday afternoon, but as the primary beneficiary of the 2017 Naki Run Amuck event we couldn’t wait to take part.
Dressed in flying superhero costumes, staff and volunteers joined in the fun on Sunday 21 May, and were overwhelmed with the $8,500 raised for the rescue helicopter.
A heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of New Plymouth North, organisers of this annual charity event.
Events held throughout the Taranaki region have raised almost $40,000 for the rescue helicopter.
