Meet Craig Chaplin, the newest pilot for the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter. Craig has swapped the beaches of Durban in South Africa for the surf of New Plymouth and is looking forward to the opportunities Taranaki has to offer. Most recently he flew with the Red Cross Air Mercy Service in South Africa, transferring patients from rural clinics and hospitals into major centres for medical care. That sense of helping people is what drives Craig, and what he is looking forward to most with his new role.
