A former Medic in the New Zealand Army and senior Crewman in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, Luke Miller has joined the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter as a Crewman. Originally from Hawkes Bay, Luke says being able to save lives is a rewarding career and, being able to do so in the tight knit community of Taranaki, is a real privilege. Joined in New Plymouth by his wife and young family, when not flying above the skies of Taranaki, Luke can be found enjoying the great outdoors the region has to offer, from climbing the mountain itself to surfing the waves at Opunake.
